Faoi Shaoránacht On Citizenship |
Tagor is perhaps best known among scholars as the
the birth place of necromancy. It went through many dark times and at the start of the aisling era it remained closed off to the rest of Temuair. Citizens of Tagor awaken at the Tagor Inn. Unique among awakening points in Temuair is that spells can be cast in the Tagor Inn allowing for easy improving of spells such as dachiaid and rift. (Tagor Inn is also the drop off point for aislings returning from the continent of Medenia via the magic carpet merchant in Noam.)

Ranking is for Mileth, Rucesion, Tagor, Suomi and Loures citizenships. Times were measured using the most direct routes from the Tagor Inn available to all aislings (except to Medenia where the express ship was used). No change of form was used. )) |
Becoming a Tagor Citizen New citizens are admitted at the Tagor Inn by the mundane Dorina. One must be insight 20 or higher and stateless. Citizenship requires the prospective aisling to help the mundanes of Tagor. The process is as follows: 1. Speak to Dorina at the Tagor Inn Be careful: Do not kill any of the villagers in the pass by accident! They are very weak. You will receive a permanent orange mark on your legend and you will need to kill ten other creatures to get the stench off you. (The only other way to become a Tagor Citizen is to be appointed a Ranger. Those Rangers who are not also Knights are granted Tagor citizenship. Rangers who are also Knights are typically granted Loures citizenship instead.) |
Changing Citizenship By Renunciation: Tagor citizenship may be voluntarily renounced at the Tagor Inn. The aisling will become stateless. Renouncing is required into order to directly become a Mileth or Rucesion citizen. By Overriding: Tagor Citizenship may be overridden by assuming Noes or Suomi citizenship. Unlike renouncing, an aisling whose Tagor citizenship is overridden is able to become a citizen again in the future. |
Politics & Law Enforcement Tagor has no aisling political system, offices or local laws. It is not possible to banished or exiled from Tagor. (While the Rangers of Temuair are based in Tagor, they do not function as local law enforcers or a government.) |
Special Consideration: Throw The skill throw can be learned by rogues and monks from the mundane trainer Bodil in Abel. For all other paths the only way to learn throw is to take office as a Guard in Mileth or Rucesion. For peasants, priests, warriors and wizards planning on becoming a Tagor citizen it is highly recommended that they take guard office before doing so if they wish to learn throw. |
