Arcana Elementa
This series of secrets stands for "Elemental Secrets". These are secrets directly derived from the power of the elements, these being:
Srad - The Element of Fire
Sal - The Element of the Water
Creag - The Element of Earth
Athar - The Element of the Wind
Strioch or Simply "Darkness" - The Element of Darkness
Deo - The Element of the Light
While the first four are easily found isolated in nature, and work in perfect synergy with each other, Srad being powerful over Athar, which is powerful over Creag, which is powerful over Water, which is powerful over Srad. This cycle of power and weakness brings order and balance. However, the latter two elements, which are not found in the pure form in nature, Strioch and Deo, introduce a chaotic tint to this cycle of power and weakness. Darkness itself cannot be mastered; it has no master, and is said to have a will of its own. Deo would be equally chaotic, however, Danaan is the controller of Deo, and ensures it is not used in any way that'd harm the natural order of things - as she sees fit. Without Danaan in that position however, and for the purposes of this Treatise, it should be noted that both Deo and Darkness can be just as destructive and chaotic.
